Francesca Martinez and Jon Rey-Hastie made my heart sing. Honest, intelligent and profound, this conversation opened my eyes to the perceptions of disability – it was a talk full of revealing intimate conversations between Francesca and Jon – about their experiences as disabled children and how they were raised by loving families. The unique talk, which came after the screening of the intimate incredible documentary, A Space In time, was unforgettable. My whole family watched this and we were all awestruck.
