Miranda Fleming review of Clemency

Alfre Woodard’s performance is really mesmerising as is the co-lead role played by Aldis Hodge. Alfre Woodward’s character holds so much pain, as does that of her death row victim. It’s truly compelling and beautifully directed – a good reason for why it won Sundance 2019.
