Unable to manage her mother’s illness any longer, Grace contacts the psychiatrist to arrange a secret intervention. Through the day, Grace’s attempts to keep her mother preoccupied open her up to the world her mother lives in, and she begins to reassess whether sectioning was really the best way to help her.
